adopted a ‘blind’ stray cat, but when it finally opened its eyes, it blew everyone away

Saving a “Blind” Kitty

A girl recounts her heartache upon first spotting this cat on the streets.

The cat was completely immobilized, as if turned to stone.

Suffering from a severe scabies mite infection, even its eyes weren’t spared.

Sick to this extent, it struggled to fend for itself.

Without intervention, it was a death sentence waiting to happen.

The cat’s loud cries were a desperate plea for a lifeline.

For a cat lover, seeing a cat in such agony is unbearable.

She immediately fetched her cat carrier and rushed the cat to the vet.

The vet conducted a thorough examination.

The skin disease was advanced, and its eyes were likely damaged.

Thankfully, there were no other health issues.

After prescribing some ointment and other topical treatments, the cat was brought back home.

To protect her other black cat from possible infection, the girl set up a special area in her bedroom for the new kitty, whom she named Little Cotton.

Little Cotton enjoyed its delicious canned food, purring contentedly.

From a state of tension, it gradually began to unwind.

Although blind, Little Cotton sensed the girl’s presence.

It cooperated well during ointment and coconut oil applications.

Unlike many cats, Little Cotton even tolerated medicinal baths, showing immense trust in its owner.

One morning, the girl discovered Little Cotton’s eyes open – one blue, one yellow, stunningly beautiful.

Believed to be blind, this surprise was a joyous revelation.

Three months later, under her loving care, 6-year-old Little Cotton was like a new cat.

Its striking odd-colored eyes and smooth, white coat captivated everyone.

Its transformation, now brimming with confidence, was a testament to the transformative power of love.
