How do I break it to my dog that it’s definitely not a cat!

Living with cats for a long time, or dogs that grew up alongside cats, tend to get a bit confused about who they are—

Seeing my dog lounging in the cat’s hammock left me at a loss for words. I could only remind him:

“You’re a dog, not a kitty. You barely even fit in that tiny bed…”

But the dog thought differently: If the cat can sleep there, why can’t I? What’s so different about this meowing pup?

I was worried he’d break the hammock in his excitement, so I had to coax him down gently!

Me, to the dog: I have to break it to you, buddy, that cat tree wasn’t exactly meant for you…

Dog: Me, a dog-meow using a cat tree, makes perfect sense, doesn’t it? Got a problem with that?

Since we have two cats, he thinks he’s one of them, trying his best to fit in…

“Cat Bro always sleeps here, so I, Sir Meow, want to give it a shot…”

“One cat per spot, let’s keep our social cat distance!”

“Thanks to my human for this cat tree…”

“Playing and sleeping on a cat tree? Being a cat is the life!”

“Worried I’ll fall? Doubting my meow-abilities?”

“Brother Meow’s recommended spot is as good as they say…”

Cat: Does this big goofball even realize he’s actually a dog?

“This dog’s just a neat-freak kitty at heart…”

These dogs seem to have caught a case of “cat-itis!”
